Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience as an Electrical Foreman in commercial projects.
Reporting Relationship(s): Project Managers
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and update detailed BIM models for electrical projects.
Collaborate with project managers, and field teams to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
Perform clash detection and resolve any design conflicts before construction begins.
Coordinate with other trades to ensure that all aspects of the project are integrated into the BIM model.
Generate and manage project documentation, including shop drawings, schedules, and material take-offs.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams regarding BIM/VDC processes.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BIM/VDC technology. Collaborate with general contractors to address design issues and develop solutions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a BIM/VDC Specialist, preferably in the electrical contracting industry.
Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
