Responsibilities and Duties
Positive and motivated individual who will be responsible for providing onsite leadership, ensuring successful daily field operation execution, safety training and daily field reporting back to office. Other duties may include assisting with project estimating and sales. This individual will be highly motivated, organized, good decision maker, self-starter that works well unsupervised, outstanding customer service skills, strong computer literacy and communication skills. The Foreman will be required to work in the field with Electricians and Millwrights who are deployed at multiple customer sites. At that time this position will lead/manage the field team and will support operations and office personnel with pertinent department information. All work is to be completed on time, within budget, to specification, codes and industry standards.
Requirements
● You must be a well-Seasoned Industrial Electrician Leadman with at-least 5 to 10 years of experience in the Electrical Commercial/Industrial Field
● Have experience supervising a 2 to 4 man crew of all skill ranges of electricians.
● Must be well rounded in all Conduit type installations, especially Rigid Conduit along with skills in installing various types of Cable tray/Basket Tray
● Must know very Basic Controls knowledge will be a plus along with troubleshooting skills.
● Ability to read and interpret blueprints
● Ability and willingness to travel to various job sites within a work week if needed.
● Ability and willingness to work overtime and holidays when necessary
● Ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions
● Move, assemble and install machinery and equipment
● Electrical maintenance repair on equipment
● The use of logical step-by-step procedures in work, planning, solving problems and decision-making based on quantifiable information
● Working independently and with others to solve electrical and technical problems.
● Maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness
● Physically capable of wearing PPE, respirator, or other safety gear necessary to complete the job
● Must have a high quality level of work
● Must consistently be on time, work well with others and maintain a safe and organized work environment
● Strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills
● Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
● Knowledgeable in estimating techniques, cost control, and scheduling
● Ability to read engineering drawings, purchase orders, and contracts
