Helpers will take direction and assist electricians in all aspects of project; we prefer candidates with experience bending pipe, using power tools, working on ladders, dirt work, etc. However, if the right candidate shows strong interest in learning, we are willing to teach.
Assist electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical in commercial settings. Ability to run conduit, pull wire, and mount electrical panels. Ability to learn how to troubleshoot electrical work and making repairs.

Electrical Foreman

Foreman

Performs all electrical tasks with limited supervision. Has the ability to read and accurately interpret electrical construction drawings, terminate cables, install, and trouble shoot control wiring from schematics. Demonstrates safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment.

 Company paid training such as NFPA 70E, OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, Equipment training, etc. We partner with an electrical trade school in Gerogia called IEC which offers a four-year complete program to become a certified electrician in the state of Georgia. If you have enough on-the-job training hours you may be eligible for a two-year pep program.

Electrical Contractor entering new work location seeking supervisor:
Purpose of Position: The Superintendent is responsible for supervising the installation, alteration, repair, replacement and maintenance of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment. Must meet strict daily and weekly project deadlines. Works directly for the Project Manager/Owner as advised.The Superintendent shall maintain appropriate relationships with client contacts in order to assure their satisfaction with work performed and to further this work. &ldquo;Unqualified&rdquo; workers are prohibited from working on energized circuits or equipment or within the limited approach boundary in accordance with the NFPA 70-E current version.
 Job Functions: (Daily or Frequently)
&nbsp;Demonstrate safe working procedures and reports unsafe working conditions and practices &nbsp;Directs work of Helpers, Electrician, Leadmen, Area Foreman, and Foreman as assigned to their job &nbsp;Lays out and plans work in advance in accordance with job schedule, plans and specifications &nbsp;Sets up the job office and equipment trailers and sees that permits, labor notices, safety rules, company, state, and federal regulations are posted in a conspicuous place. &nbsp;Ensures safety and other company mandated messages are properly delivered to work crews as instructed by the Company &nbsp;Ascertains that safety barricades are in proper place, safety lights properly operating, tools are secure, and good housekeeping is kept on their job sites &nbsp;Maintains a productive working relationship with the Project Manager/Procurement Manager/Owner, seeking his/her assistance in the scheduling of materials, equipment and subcontractors and assisting with change order estimates &nbsp;Attends pre-construction and construction meetings, taking notes on areas that may present a future problem and consult with PM to find resolution or submit RFI &nbsp;Ensures that all change orders are properly executed and indicated on as-built plans &nbsp;Assists Management in estimating percent of completion of each item for monthly invoicing and of labor for each job cost report and notifies Management of unforeseen problems that may develop &nbsp;Maintains good relationships with inspectors, architects, subcontractors and other key people connected with the project &nbsp;Creates/ completes short term interval (look ahead) schedules and pre-task plans &nbsp;Reviews attendance daily and submits time sheets and PTO request to Payroll on time each week &nbsp;Schedules job-site inspections and participates in &ldquo;walk-throughs&rdquo; and assists inspectors on their project reviews when necessary &nbsp;Attends job meetings, coordinates with other trades and owner representatives &nbsp;Completes and maintains company required files, forms and documents using software programs as required, such as Excel, Word, and/or Outlook &nbsp;Coordinates delivery, pick-up, and maintenance of heavy equipment on the project and supervises effective utilization &nbsp;Orders and tracks material in conjunction with Foreman &nbsp;Evaluates abilities and work ethic of direct reports &nbsp;Ensures employees under his/her supervision maintain Ireland Electric policies &nbsp;Responsible for ensuring well kept sanitary facilities are available for his/her workers
